Social Media Management Volunteer

Location: Remote / Online

Overview

We’re looking for a committed volunteer to help manage MAS Elk Grove’s Instagram and Facebook pages. This includes posting content, editing media, creating flyers, and keeping our online presence active, consistent, and aligned with Islamic values.

What You'll Do

• Post stories, flyers, and reels regularly
• Create flyers or graphics when needed using MAS branding
• Edit reels and write captions that are clear and professional
• Reach out to program leads to gather event details, photos, and updates
• Help plan weekly content and stay ahead of upcoming events
• Monitor page activity and track basic analytics (views, likes, shares)

Support You’ll Get

• Access to branding templates and past materials
• Collaboration with the admin team when needed
• Flexibility to manage and schedule posts independently

What You Should Have

• Comfortable with Instagram and Facebook
• Able to design flyers (Canva or similar tools)
• Can edit reels/stories (CapCut, InShot, etc.)
• Reliable, organized, and familiar with Islamic tone and values
• Good communication skills for working with various team leads
