Quran Teacher
Duties of the Quran Teacher

Work Sundays from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM at MAS Elk Grove.

Support Quran instruction from Sunday, August 17 to Sunday, December 21, 2025.
-
Teach Quranic recitation with correct pronunciation and Tajweed rules.
-
Engage students in understanding the Quran and its meanings through effective teaching strategies.
-
Maintain a respectful and spiritually enriching classroom environment.
-
Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff.
-
Complete lesson planning, attendance, and other administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
-
Strong Quranic knowledge, including Tajweed and Islamic studies.

Ability to recite the Quran with proper pronunciation and Tajweed.

Experience teaching Quran in a structured setting.

Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with students and families.
-
Organizational skills for classroom and administrative tasks.

Adherence to Islamic values and conduct.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Degree or certification in Islamic Studies or Quranic instruction.

Patience and compassion when working with youth of varying backgrounds and learning styles.
-
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.

Experience working with Sunday Schools or similar programs.
